Where Design Meets Compliance and Manufacturing
Engineering for Development
- Production of detailed 3D models, combining inputs from mechanical simulations, measurements and material tests. Do you want to find out more about mechanical measurements and calculations? Know more!
- Compliance with requirements of European Directives (including PED and Machinery directives) and of Eurocodes.
- Wide expertise on welded/brazed pieces of equipment with exotic materials
Design Validation
- Participation to Engineering reviews and production of suitable documentation (you can read more about it here!).
- Available expertise on material selection, with focus on sustainability (discover our activities related to material sciences).
- CERN PLM tool is providing reliable process for design validation, involving as well users an technical experts.
Integration with Manufacturing
- Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DfMA). The EN-MME group also work closely with the manufacturing team.
- We provide Interface with EN-MME Workshop and external suppliers, with design coordination capabilities in case of involvement of various stakeholders.
- Management of versioning process aimed to produce released documentation is provided for procurement and follow-up.
